Remark :long-term consequence: The conspirators are tortured and later stoned to death by the Macedonians.
Notes :Callisthenes, the teacher of the Macedonian pages, motivated Hermolaus and the other pages to conspirate against Alexander. Especially Hermolaus was prone to conspirating as he had been punished in a humiliating way by Alexander for a minor mistake.
