    Original Text :καὶ συναγαγὼν τοὺς Ἀχαιούς τοῖς τε σώμασιν ἀγυμνάστους ὄντας καὶ ταῖς διανοίαις ἐκλελυμένους πρὸς τὸν πόλεμον ἡττᾶται περὶ Καφύας.
     
    Translation :And having assembled the Achaeans, who were physically and mentally unfit for war, he met with defeat at Caphyae.
