    Original Text :ἐν δὲ τῷ διὰ μέσου Λακεδαιμονίων στρατῷ μεγάλῳ ἐμβαλόντων εἰς τὴν Ταναγρικὴν καὶ τῶν Ἀθηναίων εὐθὺς ὁρμησάντων ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς [...].
     
    Translation :But in the meanwhile1 the Lacedaemonians invaded the district of Tanagra with a great army, and the Athenians straightway sallied out against them.
