    Original Text :ὃς εὐθύνας διδοὺς τῆς στρατηγίας ἐν αὐτῷ τῷ δικαστηρίῳ στασάμενος ξίφος ἀνεῖλεν ἑαυτόν
     
    Translation :Paches, the captor of Lesbos, who, while he was giving the official account of his generalship, drew his sword in the very court-room and slew himself.
