καὶ τῇ ἵππῳ διεξελαύνων διέφθειρε πολλοὺς τῶν ἀτάκτως τὸ πεδίον πορθούντων.
Translation :
and riding through the plain with his cavalry, he cut off many straggling plunderers there.
