    Original Text :καὶ τὸ σημεῖον ἀπέβη κατὰ τὴν Ἀριστάνδρου πρόρρησιν ἐτρώθη μὲν γὰρ Ἀλέξανδρος εἰς τὸν ὦμον, ἔλαβε δὲ τὴν πόλιν.
     
    Translation :And the omen was fulfilled as Aristander predicted; for though Alexander was wounded in the shoulder, he took the city.
