Finally, he went back to Catana without effecting anything at all except the overthrow of Hyccara, a barbarian fastness. From this place it is said that Lais the courtesan was sold as a prisoner of war, being still a girl, and brought into Peloponnesus.

victim: Plutarch does not specify wether Lais was sold in context of Nicias' conquest. If she was born in 422 BC and sold as a girl, then it might have been as a consequence of the taking of Hyccara. Nonetheless he might also have added this information to describe Hyccara in a more detailed manner to his readers.
