    Original Text :ὁ δὲ Καπελιανὸς Καρχηδόνα εἰσελθὼν πάντας τε τοὺς πρωτεύοντας ἀπέκτεινεν, εἴ τινες καὶ ἐσώθησαν ἐκ τῆς μάχης, εἴ τινες καὶ ἐσώθησαν ἐκ τῆς μάχης, ἐφείδετό τε οὔτε ἱερῶν συλήσεως οὔτε χρημάτων ἰδιωτικῶν τε καὶ δημοσίων ἁρπαγῆς.
     
    Translation :On his entry into Carthage, Capellianus massacred any prominent person who had escaped the battle, and had no compunction about robbing temples or confiscating private and public funds.
