    Original Text :εἰς τὸν τροχὸν καταδεθεὶς ἐστρεβλοῦτο πολὺν χρόνον, ἕως ἐπῆλθον οἱ τὸ πᾶν κακόν, ὡς εἶχεν, ἀπαγγέλλοντες.
     
    Translation :He [the barber] was therefore fastened to the wheel and racked a long time, until messengers came with the actual facts of the whole disaster.
