    Original Text :Tribunum, qui excubias deseri passus est, carpento rotali subteradnexum per totum iter vivum atque exanimum traxit.
     
    Translation :A tribune who allowed a sentry-post to be left unguarded he caused to be bound under a wheeled waggon and then dragged living or dead all through the entire march.
