    Original Text :Ὁ δὲ, ἐκ τῆς Συρίας ἐλάσας, συμβάλλει αὐτῷ περὶ Νακόλειαν τῆς Φρυγίας πόλιν: προδοσίᾳ τε Ἀγέλωνος καὶ Γωμαρίου τῶν αὐτοῦ στρατηγῶν, ζωγρήσας, αὐτόν τε καὶ τοὺς προδότας ἐλεεινῶς ἀνεῖλε.

    Remark :long-term consequence: Both Procopius and the two generals are executed afterwards, described in: "Agilo and Gomoarius are sawn in half on orders of Valens, although he had promised them favourable treatment." and "Procopius is bound to two trees and ripped apart on orders of Valens."
