Vikings cut off the legs, hands and noses of captured Saxon nobles and throw them at shore out of anger, after Count Siegfried of Stade had escaped from them.
Capti sunt ibi marchio Sigafridus, comes Thiadricus et alii illustres viri, quos vinctis post terga manibus barbari traxerunt ad naves et pedes eorum catena strinxerunt, totam exinde provintiam impune predantes.
