    Remark :titel: Drusus the younger had merely fallen ill and Clutorius Priscus had prepared a poem in advance, hoping to gain fame if Drusus died. For more context and the senate proceedings, see 3.49-50.
    long-term consequence: Tiberius disapproved of the quick execution, causing the senate to change the law so that a nine-day grace period would be given before execution (3.51).
