ἐπεὶ δὲ μεγάλα ταῖς ἐλπίσι περινοῶν ὁ Φίλιππος εἰς Ἑλλήσποντον ἦλθε μετὰ πάσης τῆς δυνάμεως, ὡς Χερρόνησον ἐν ταὐτῷ καὶ Πέρινθον ἕξων καὶ Βυζάντιον
Translation :
And now Philip, cherishing great anticipations, went to the Hellespont with all his forces,1 expecting to get the Chersonesus, and at the same time Perinthus and Byzantium, into his power.
