    Original Text :Principes Saxoniae et nobiles, preter duos mediocri loco natos, omnes vivi integrique evadunt, tum peritia locorum, tum obtenebrati aeris densitate, tum equorum velocitate commodissime usi. Porro in vulgus pedestre, quod congressis equitibus adhuc in castris resederat, ita ultra modum omnem modestiamque debachata est hostilis feritas, ut christianae verecundiae obliti pecudes sibi, non homines iugulare viderentur. Plurimam etiam partem fluvius Unstrut, dum metu gladii imminentis precipitantius irruunt, obsorbuit. Cedi nox finem fecit.

    Remark :long-term consequence: The chase is stopped due to the late time of day and danger of crossing the Unstrut, but the many riches and foodstuffs of the Saxon camp are plundered.
